Not sure I understand the VST argument for Reason. Reason’s samplers, synths and drum machines are great and not limited to just the sounds that come with Reason. You can buy Refills to keep loading up your samplers, synths, Re-drum, and DR. Rex devices to keep them fresh. So why need VST?

This was a decent article. Something that actually settles a question pretty well. It doesn’t include info on abelton live though , but still.
